The red stains upon the white field of snow were impossible to miss, as were the cries coming from the grievously wounded creature. Agony spilled off his every sound, but he was just outside the territory - alone and afraid. However, all she could do was sit in the snow, blanketed in her thick furs, hidden from the sight of others.Every sound tore at her heart, but he was not worth giving up home for. He was not worth the brand of exile, no matter how close he was to the borders. However, to do nothing? Even for those deemed the enemy, it seemed too cruel to ignore him.

Helka is cautious and aloof, keeping an emotional distance from events. She can be judgmental, although she does take her time and considers many factors before passing judgment on a creature or action. Once won, Helka’s friendship (and enmity) is deep and long lasting. She is slow to make friends and enemies, and even slower to forget them. She replies to petty insults with disdain and to serious insults with vengeance. Helka loves beauty in any form and has a knack for perceiving inner beauty rather than outward appearance and actions. She delights in song, dance, and works of magic.Helka, is a skilled mage in both the arts of white and black magic, with a strong pool of aether to draw upon. However, magic is often the last thing she will reach for when attending the needs of man or beast. Helka will use her skill set in herbology, crystals, and alchemy to attend those in need, believing that her magic should only be used sparingly.

THE CHIRUGEON
The needs of both people and beast rarely fall upon deaf ears with Helka. Always willing to aid those who require some form of healing, protection, and respite. She will travel if she must, to attend the sick and injured more often then naught doing it for little to no gil as payment.
THE TRAVELER
Supplies are oft hard to come by; special medicinal herbs, crystals and other rare finds are highly sought after. Helka will often travel great lengths to procure something she requires. Sometimes these paths she takes are calm, but more often than not there are filled with dangers.
THE HAG
Once the children of the nearby village caught her practicing magic, the terrified them enough they ran home and told their parents about this hag which lives in the forest. And so, anytime they did wrong, they would blame it on the hag, how she tormented them. Soon the rumor of children became truth to those around them. Occasionally hiring brave adventures to journey into the woods to send the creature away.
THE LOREKEEPER
Alchemy, crystals, herbology, magic, mystical and mundane both alike fascinate Helka. She has made these areas her fields of expertise and for those lucky enough these are motes of knowledge she is willing to share. Or collect if one were so inclined to wish to barter with her some new knowledge.
